Cranky or Angry Care Pathway Template
|Assessment||Evaluate and document feeling cranky or angry using self-report wherever possible (usually in children 8 years of age and older) and by asking guardians where not possible (for children 2-7 years of age).|
|Suggest the ASQ Tool to assess risk of self-harm
If risk present, urgent psychiatry consult.
|Prevention||Possible center decision: Offer child life services consultation.|
|Treatment||Evaluate and modify potentially contributing factors if possible.|
|Possible center decision: Offer child life, social work, psychology or psychiatry services.|
